Born September 6, 1974 in Richmond, Virginia - - American film and television actor.
When he was 11 months old, Coleman's parents abandoned him and his four siblings. The children were raised by adoptive parents George and Lottie Bird. While still at school, he was engaged in running track and field athletics, but due to a leg injury, he quits sports and begins to show interest in acting. After graduating from high school in 1984, Chad Coleman attended Virginia Commonwealth University, but dropped out after one year and entered the military, where he served four years as a videographer. Has been filming social advertising and music videos.
After moving to New York, he worked as a stunt double on The Cosby Show. In 2002, he starred as O. Jay Simpson in the television movie Monday Night Mayhem. Chad also starred in Terminator: The Battle for the Future and The Wire, as well as a small role in Carlito's Path 2: Rise to Power. Most recently, he was involved in the development of Left 4 Dead 2, voicing the character of Trainer.
