Born April 1, 1982 on the shores of Lake Big Bear in California. He graduated from the Los Angeles School of Art. He made his film debut in 1994 in Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult. When he was nineteen years old, he became the youngest resident of the Mad TV project .
Taran Killam has appeared on several famous sitcoms and joined the improvised sketch comedy troupe The Groundlings in 2012.
In 2010, Taran Killam first appeared on Saturday Night Live. In 2013, he starred in the comedies "The Heat" and "12 Years a Slave" .
