Born July 27, 1972 in Gainesville, Florida is an American actress, comedian, and singer.
She attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, where she befriended Gwyneth Paltrow, and then continued her studies at the University of California, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1995.
Rudolph is best known for her consistent performance on Saturday Night Live from 2000 to 2007. She began her career in the late nineties, performing with the comedy troupe The Groundlings, where her friends and Bridesmaids co-stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Wendy McLendon-Covey also performed.
After several small roles in film and television, she appeared in the 2006 film Companions, where she played a significant role. She later co-starred in the film Idiocracy, opposite Luke Wilson. In 2010 she appeared in the film "Classmates", where she played the role of the wife of the hero Chris Rock.
Rudolph rose to prominence after co-starring in the commercially and critically successful 2011 film Bridesmaids. In the fall of that year, she starred in the NBC comedy series All Night Long.
In 2012, Rudolph returned to Saturday Night Live, but this time as a guest star on her own episode and received an Emmy nomination for her performance.
