Born April 12, 1968 in Huntington, New York, is an American actress, starring primarily in television series.
In the late 1980s, Coppola began working in television and hosted the popular MTV game show Control Panel. Since 1991, she began to appear in television series, playing mostly minor and cameo roles. From 1991 to 1994, Coppola starred in the soap opera Underworld, and later played small roles in the famous TV series Star Trek: Voyager, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, 24 Hours, Two and a Half Men, Military Legal Service, NCIS, Jericho, The Defective Detective, Lie to Me, Bones, The Nine Lives of Chloe King and others. She played a supporting role as an FBI agent in the 2007 film Nation's Treasure: Book of Secrets. She starred in the TV series "Teen Wolf" as Derek's mother - Thalia.
