Sam Reid began his television career with All Saints on the Channel Seven Network. He appeared in the TV series The Modern Ripper, Ghosts, Agatha Christie's Miss Marple, the films Endeavor, Retribution, Belle. He played the role of rebel Robert Devereux, who lost his head for treason to the Queen, in the acclaimed Shakespeare film "Anonymous".
