Born November 19, 1977 in Albany (New York, USA). Before moving to New York, where Reid continued his acting studies, he studied at Syracuse University. Reid Scott is best known for filming television projects. On account of his roles in such popular TV series as "Bones", "CSI Crime Scene", "Turbo: Blitz Team", "Perception", etc.
The actor gained the greatest popularity after the release of the comedy series "Vice President", in which he played Dan Egan, deputy press secretary of Vice President McClintock (Matt Walsh). At the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards, the series was nominated in three nominations for awards, including Best Comedy Series .
In June 2014, Reid Scott joined the cast of the comedy The Trainee, directed by Nancy Myers. The film (slated to premiere in 2015) stars Anne Hathaway, Robert De Niro, Rene Russo and others. The film tells the story of a fashion website that recruits an elderly intern.
Reid Scott now lives in Los Angeles. On June 21, 2014, Scott married his longtime girlfriend Elspeth Keller.
