Born December 22, 1948 - American singer and actress.
Graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 1979 she moved to New York to become an actress. In the same year she starred in the memorable role of a DJ in the film "Warriors" .
Thigpen has appeared in many famous films, including Shaft, Bicentennial Man, Idling, Tootsie and others. In 1992 and 2000, the actress was nominated for the Obie.
On March 29, 1994, a musical album was released, in which Lynn Thigpen took part - Carmen Sandiego: Out of This World.
Lynn Thigpen's voice has been featured in over 20 audiobooks.
She was buried in her hometown at the Elmhurst Cemetery.
