Born July 20, 1985 in Willing, Illinois is an American actor, screenwriter, singer, and director.

John was imbued with the acting profession since childhood, he took part in school theater productions, and later graduated with honors from the university.

For the first time won the theater audience in the play "Who is Tommy", where Daly appeared in the form of a young Tom. Started in the cinema in the late 90s, played small roles in the TV series "Spin City" and "Fair Emmy", and also participated in the filming with his father. And two years later (in 2005) he appeared in the comedy film "Big Grub" directed by Rob McKitrick, where he played the role of Mitchell - a novice waiter in an expensive restaurant who takes revenge on rich arrogant customers for their humiliation and insults. In the same 2005 he played in the sitcom with the same "kitchen" theme "Secrets in the Kitchen", where Bradley Cooper was a colleague on the set.

In 2007, the comedy drama "Seventy-seventh" by Patrick Reed Jones was released. The actor had a chance to add another major role to his list of acting jobs. Together with Austin Pendleton ("Short Circuit", "A Beautiful Mind") and Colleen Camp ("American Rhapsody", "The Game of Death"), they put their acting efforts to make the film popular with a wide audience of viewers. John's hero - Pat Johnson by all means tried to get to the premiere of the film "Star Wars". The plot of the film reveals Pat's further adventures on the way to his dream.

In 2011, viewers could see Daily alongside Jennifer Aniston, Chprley Day, Jason Bateman and Colin Farrell in Seth Gordon's crime comedy Horrible Bosses. In addition to his acting talent for this film, John proved himself to be a talented screenwriter (co-written with Jonathan Goldstein and Michael Markowitz). Daley already had experience as a screenwriter before, this happened in the early 2000s while working on the TV series Bones. And in 2013, John became a scriptwriter for two new films at once - the comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (in which he was also involved as an actor) and the exciting animated adventure film Cloudy ... 2: GMO's Revenge.

In 2013, John starred opposite Craig Robins and Anna Kendrick in Paul Middleditch's fantasy comedy about the aftermath of the religious apocalypse Delight Palouse.
