English singer, songwriter and actress. Born July 30, 1991 in Blackburn, England (Lancashire). Vickers rose to fame by becoming a semi-finalist in the 2008 British talent show The X Factor. From October 8, 2009 to January 30, 2010, she starred in a West End Theater production based on Jim Cartwright's play The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. It was Diana's acting debut, and critics recognized it as very successful, and the author of the play called the young performer a real natural-born actress. Diana Vickers' musical career was officially launched in March 2010 in the UK and Ireland. Her first single, and later an album, will be released by RCA Records. Diana toured in support of the album from March 20 to March 29.
