Born August 9, 1958 - American actress, director and television producer. She rose to fame after starring in the 1985 horror film Fear Night. In 1987, Bierse landed the role of Marcy Darcy in the sitcom Married ... with Children, where she starred until 1997 and also directed the show. After completing the series, she became a successful television director and practically stopped working as an actress. She directed a significant number of episodes of TV series such as Dharma and Greg and Riba, and in 2011, she briefly returned to the TV screen in the series Beautiful to Death .
Bierze was born in Winter Park, Florida and studied acting in New York City, where she made her debut in 1982 with a role in the daytime soap opera All My Children .
Bierze has been an open lesbian since 1993, in 2010 she married her partner Kerry Schenken. They have two daughters.
