Born May 5, 1962 - Japanese composer, arranger, conductor, orchestrator and pianist from Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Studied at the Tokyo School of Music. Mostly known as an anime music composer. He became famous in the world after writing music for such works as "3x3 Eyes", "Battle Angel", "7 Samurai" and won worldwide popularity "InuYasha". He also transcribed the original soundtracks for "Kingdom Hearts" and "Kingdom Hearts II" for the orchestra.
