June 18, 1934 Kobe - April 15, 2004 Tokyo - Screenwriter and renowned mangaka (artist who draws Japanese comics).
Some of his works including Tetsujin 28-go (better known as Gigantor), Giant Robo, Red Shadow, Otenba Tenshi, Babel II, Mahoutsukai Sally (Sally the Witch ") And" Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-san "were filmed as anime series. His main work in life was the 60-volume manga Sangokushi, a retelling of the classic Chinese novel The Three Kingdoms, for which he received the 1991 Manga Artists Association award.
