Born February 24, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from high school, she entered Boston College, and then began working as an actress. She made her debut in 1998 on an episode of the sitcom Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizzeria, and the following year rose to fame for starring in the musical miniseries Loud Rock: An American Love Story starring Dana Delaney and Katie Baker, and in subsequent years regularly appeared on television and in films.
