She was born on October 14, 1933 in the village of Katyuzhanka, Kiev region. Graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Theatrical Art named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary (1955, workshop of P. Sergienko). After assignment, she left for the Simferopol Theater. She was an actress in theaters in Lvov, Zaporozhye, Poltavi. In 1990-1993 she was an actress of the Kiev theater "Budmo!" Sumskaya (Opanasenko) - the mother of famous Ukrainian actresses Natalia and Olga Sumskikh.
Honored Artist of Ukraine (1975).
