Honored Artist of Russia Mikhail Nikolaevich Sadorkin is from Moscow, where he was lucky to be born in 1910, on February 4, in the family of a university student and a student of medical courses. In 1926, the future actor received his secondary education in Podolsk, where the family moved in 1917. He acquired his first acting lessons from the famous musician and teacher N. Garnovsky. He also studied at the theater school at the Vakhtangov Theater. On the stage of the same theater he worked (1927-1949), first as an actor and later as a director. In 1949, Mikhail Sadorkin was enrolled in the Theater. Mossovet, where he was an actor, and then became a director. Since 1963 - artistic director of the Romen Theater. The best theatrical works of Sadorkin were the roles of Alexei in Yegor Bulychev and others, Volodya in the Man with a Gun, Kravets in the Cup of Joy, Sage in Princess Turandot and others.
The actor came to the domestic cinema in 1931, playing the role of the Komsomol member Seryozha in the film Near Us. Alas, this role went unnoticed. In subsequent years, films with Mikhail Sadorkin, Spring Days (1934), The Law of Life (1940), The Boy from the Taiga (1941), The Oath (1946) and others, in which the actor played episodic and minor film roles, were released on the cinema screens. And only the premiere of the film Legend of the Siberian Land (1947), in which Sidorkin starred as the musician Sergei Tomakurov, brought the artist well-deserved fame. This and similar comedic roles were given to M. Sadorkin easily, but, at the same time, they were bright and expressive. The entire filmography of the actor consists of almost thirty films.
The last film with Mikhail Sadorkin was directed by V. Ryzhkov in 1976. In the historical series Siberia, the actor played the role of a trustee.
M. Sadorkin's wife was the actress Anna Sevastyanova, the niece of the legendary K. Stanislavsky. Together, the couple published the book "Ways and Crossroads" (1984).
The talented actor passed away on April 1, 1980. For the past 15 years, he did little to film, lived quietly, and devoted most of his time to writing memoirs.
