Born in Moscow on March 11, 1961. Graduated from the State Academy named after G.V. Plekhanov (Russian Academy of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov) with a degree in international economics .
In 1989, together with Timur Bekmambetov, he founded a film company for the production of television advertising. Writes music for advertising, author of several hundred advertising ringtones. In 2000, he was elected a full member of the Russian Academy of Advertising.
In 1999, together with Ivan Shapovalov, he took part in the creation of the musical group Tatu. The author of the music for the songs "Yugoslavia", "Tell me why" .
In 2001 he began producing the musical group "Beasts".
