People's Artist of the People's Republic of Bulgaria Georgi Georgiev-Getz (full name - Georgi Ivanov Georgiev-Getz) is from the village of Razpopovtsi, not far from the Bulgarian city of Elena. There he was born in 1926, on October 4. The future famous artist graduated from the acting department at the Theater Institute in Sofia in 1953. The novice actor was invited to work at the theater.
