Julie Benz (also found Benz) (born May 1, 1972, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA) is an American actress and former figure skater. She is best known for her role as Rita Bennett in the television series Dexter, for which she received the 2006 Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Series. She is also known for her role as Darla in the series "Angel" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
