Born on August 26, 1898.
In 1916 he graduated from the First real school. In 1917 - 26 he served in the Red Army and the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic. In 1925 he graduated from the drama studio named after F.I. Chaliapin and until 1927 was an artist in this studio. In 1927 - 38 - an artist of the Studio Theater under the direction of R.N. Simonov, in 1938 - 41 - the Leningrad Drama and Comedy Theater, in 1941 - 44 - the Ashgabat Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin. In 1944 - 58 - artist of the Moscow theater named after M.N. Ermolova. Died 1971.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1947).
Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1959).
