Norwegian actor, playwright and teacher. He has played in several Norwegian films and theater productions. After high school in Finnmark, he studied acting at the University College of Theater in Oslo, where he entered in 1964 as the first student.
After school he worked at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen from 1968 to 1971.
He then participated in the opening of the Holugaland Theater in the fall of 1971. It was the first professional theater in Northern Norway and the first regional theater in Norway.
