Julianne Margulies is an American actress best known for her roles in such films as City Island, Hitler: The Devil's Rising, and The Ghost Ship. Julianne Louise Margulis was born on June 8, 1966 in New York, USA, in the family of Francesca, a ballerina and dance teacher, and Paul Margulis, a writer and philosopher.
