Eric Saven was born into a family of rugby players, and he was destined to be more of a sports career. But his strong conviction led him to Paris, where he excelled at the Cours Florent. During the hearing, he met Xavier Duranger, with whom he still works today.
He made his stage debut in 1989 at Lorenzaccio de Musset, edited by Francis Huster. In the film by Bertrand Tavernier, he gets his first role in 1992: Inspector Lefort in the film "L627". It regularly replaces theater, television and cinema. His first success came with Duhringer's performances "La Petite Entaille" in 1991, and "Surfer" in 1997, presented at the Avignon Festival.
