Producer, director, actor.
Graduated from the directing department of VGIK (1973, workshop of E. Dzigan).
Assistant director on The Run, co-director of The Taming of the Fire and Solo for Elephant with Orchestra.
He starred in the film "Strange People" by V. Shukshin.
In 1988, together with A. Romanenko and R. Fruntov, he organized one of the first independent film companies, Fora-Film (in 1998, this film company will become one of the founders of the Cinema Forum company).
Producer of more than twenty films (with Y. Romanenko). Secretary of the UK Confederation. President of the Association of Russian Film Producers.
