Emmanuelle Mouret is a French actor and director, born June 30, 1970 in Marseille.
He shot his first short film at the age of 19, while still living in Marseille. He graduated from the European School of Image and Sound (Femis), also studied drama for four years. His graduation film "Promene-toi Donc Tout Nu!" was shown in theaters in 1999.
Like Sasha Guitri and Woody Allen, he stars in his films as a naive and awkward young man.
He directed his first film in 2000, Let Lucy Do What She Wants! (Laissons Lucie faire!), In which he starred alongside Marie Guillant. His film Venus et Fleur was selected to be screened at the directors' two-week show in Cannes in 2004, as was Changement d'adresse, released in 2006.
Always on the same register of a bitter comedy, in 2007 he released Un baiser s'il vous plait (Un baiser s'il vous plait), where he still stars alongside Julie Gaie and Virginie Ledoyen. He then joined the cast of Les Bureaux de Dieu in 2008. In 2009, he made a new film, "Make Me Happy!" (Fais-moi plaisir!), Starring Judith Gordesh, Frederic Bel and Deborah Francois.
Emmanuelle is working in September and October 2010 on his sixth film "The Art of Love" with Francois Cluse, Frederic Bel, Julie Depardieu, Judith Gordesh.
