Soviet actress Margarita Volodina was born in Leningrad in January 1938. Leokadia Nikolaevna, her mother, was from Poland, and Margarita did not know her father. The family survived the war under the occupation. By the beginning of the war, Volodina was a third-grade student, but due to circumstances, the girl's studies were interrupted until peace resumed. After the war, Margarita became a member of the artistic word circle. At that time, Volodina decided to study acting.
