In 1976 he graduated from the Leningrad Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in the composition class of Professor A.D. Mnatsakanyan.
Since 1985 - a member of the Union of Composers of Russia.
The main creativity is music for dramatic performances. More than 60 works, including "Noise Behind the Scene", "Beautiful Sunday for a Picnic" (Krasnoyarsk Drama Theater); Memorial Prayer (Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk drama theaters); "Ghosts" (St. Petersburg Theater of Satire); "A Plague on Both Your Homes" (Globus Theater, Novosibirsk); "Krechinsky's Wedding" (St. Petersburg Buff Theater).
