Soviet and Russian film and theater actor and director Ivan Krasko was born in the Leningrad Region in September 1930. At the age of twenty-three, he graduated from the naval school, then served as a commander on a landing ship. However, Ivan did not work out with a military career.
After the downsizing, Krasko returned to normal civilian life. Even then, he dreamed of working as an actor, but was not sure whether he had the appropriate skills.
