Igor Ledogorov was born in Moscow in 1932. When the Second World War began, the Ledogorov family was evacuated to the city of Tashkent. It was there that Igor first learned what the world of cinema is - the boy was taken into the crowd scene for the film Two Soldiers. And although since then Ledogorov has been very attracted to the acting path, after graduating from school he decided to first get a reliable profession. Igor entered the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute, from which he graduated in 1958. Then he was admitted to the theater and art institute in the same city and soon after graduation he moved to Leningrad.
For the first time, an actor starred in a movie while still studying in the theater - he played a small role in the film Your tracks. Two years later, a new film with Igor Ledogorov was released - I want to believe. And in 1967 he was invited to play the main role in the film Nikolai Bauman. Successful work in this film instantly made Ledogorov popular. The actor began to be invited to roles in dramatic, military, adventure films. During his career, he managed to star in the films Waltz, Adolescent Age, Ambush, Ballad about Bering and his friends, Ruins shoot, Through hardships to the stars, Hot snow, Georgy Sedov, Sky with me, Teens in the universe, Portrait with rain and many others.
Since 1967 he has performed at the theater. Lenin's Komsomol for two years. Then Ledogorov was accepted into the troupe of the Lensovet Theater, in which he worked for another two years. Since 1971, Igor has become an actor in TSATSA.
After perestroika, like many actors of that time, Ledogorov fell into oblivion. In 1997, following his son, he immigrated to New Zealand. The last film with Igor Ledogorov, in which he starred in Russia, was called the Black Ocean. After the move, he sometimes took part in theatrical performances, starred in commercials. The actor passed away in 2005 in Hamilton.
