Soviet and Russian actor Gennady Frolov was born in March 1961 in Elektrostal. Gennady was born into an ordinary proletarian family. Tamara Dmitrievna - his mother, was a painter of an engineering plant, and Mikhail Ivanovich - his father, worked as a driver.
After graduating from Elektrostal High School in 1978, Frolov was determined to become an actor. As a result, he entered VGIK. Here he studied at the prestigious acting department in the workshop of Tamara Makarova, as well as Sergei Gerasimov.
