Born June 25, 1945 - American pop singer, singer and songwriter, one of the most prominent representatives of the "confessional" style in pop music, who also gained fame as the author of children's books. Simon, who became famous in the early 1970s, primarily thanks to the hit "You're So Vain" (# 1 Billboard Hot 100), is a recipient of two Grammy awards and one Golden Globe. Carly Simon made 26 albums on the Billboard 200, the third of which, No Secrets, topped the lists in 1973. In 1994, Carly Simon was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
