Soviet actor Yevgeny Krasavtsev was born shortly before the German invasion. He was the eldest of three brothers. At the front, my father was surrounded, from which he managed to get out, in order to then get into a penal company. And after the war, he also ended up in domestic camps. Having received amnesty, he could no longer live in the capital. All this is told in order to understand that the future actor had a very hard time, since he was responsible for his younger brothers, and his mother worked all the time. But, oddly enough, the difficult military and post-war childhood did not postpone his anger towards the world around him, but on the contrary.
Here, however, it played a big role that Eugene grew up in the Taganka area, near the famous theaters. He loved the temple of art and wanted to become like those who reincarnated on stage. And his dream came true. He entered VGIK, from which he graduated in 1967. After that he was enrolled as a staff member of the Gorky Film Studio, where he worked until the end of his days.
Who remembers, one of the directions of the aforementioned film studio was the creation of children's films. So the first roles of Evgeny Krasavtsev were appropriate. Viewers of the older generation will surely remember such films as Chapaya Eagles, The Adventures of the Yellow Suitcase, Fiery Childhood. There were more serious works. For example, Crime and Punishment, Poseidon rushes to the rescue and others. Although, in general, Krasavtsev left behind a little work in the cinema, foreign artists spoke much more in his voice. It is not known for certain about his theatrical works. It is possible that there were none or only a few. But there was one hobby that left an eternal memory of this, of course, an extraordinary person. It's a poetry. And in many reference books the word "poet" is first, and after it - "actor".
Yevgeny did not receive his second literary education, however, he attended the courses of the famous poet and publicist Edmund Iodkovsky. History has preserved a performance that took place in 1970 on the stage of the Leningrad University. Even then, in his poems "closed" topics slipped through. This poetry evening was recorded on tape by the future St. Petersburg poet Nikolai Kotomin, who was then a student. It is surprising that this film became the only source that left the creation of Evgeny Krasavtsev to the world. There was also the publication of two poems in the magazine Yunost, dated 1971. And nothing more. But historical justice prevailed, and a collection of poetry was published. And on the verses of Krasavtsev, the famous actor and singer Yevgeny Dyatlov wrote several songs, such as The fox gait in autumn, Sing, gypsies and others.
But this happened many years after the death of Eugene. The poet and actor himself died of a serious illness on October 30, 1986 at the age of 47. To everyone who first heard this name, we recommend reading his poems or watching a film with the participation of Evgeny Krasavtsev.
