He worked closely with Leonid Gaidai, Isidor Annensky, Vladimir Sukhobokov, and most of all he was remembered by the viewer for the roles of the base director in the adventure film Operation Y, as well as the performance of Modest Alekseevich in the Anna tape around his neck.

Vladimir Alexandrovich was born in Kiev, in 1891, and passionately loved the theater from his earliest childhood. In 1912, the guy graduated from high school and moved to Odessa, where he manages to get into the troupe of Basmanny, and in 1925, having arrived in Moscow, he performed at the Meyerhold and Korsch Theaters.

In 1933, the actor was enrolled in the staff of the Maly Theater, where he played in productions based on Gogol and Ostrovsky, and his best role was the performance of the character Chugunov in the play Wolves and Sheep.
