Igor Bezyaev was born in 1922 in Ukraine, in the city of Kharkov. It happened on July 17th. Igor was a character actor. He became one of the first graduates of the post-war VGIK. When the Great Patriotic War began, Igor immediately went to the front as a volunteer. There he successfully graduated from the pilot school and became a navigator. He was also considered the assistant to the commander of his own platoon of the 62nd Don Army. But, like many soldiers, the war left a trauma to remember. In 1942, Bezyaev received a shrapnel wound from a mine. The leg was seriously injured, so the young man was discharged.
Igor decided to enter the Institute of Aviation, but he did not manage to finish it, because already in 1945 he entered the VGIK, where he took an acting course with Vasily Vasilyevich Vanin. After his successful graduation in 1949, Igor became an actor at the Film Actor's Studio Theater, and also got a job at the Mosfilm film studio. Since 1950, one could see the first roles of Igor Bezyaev in small episodes of several films. But already in 1955, he began to receive invitations to the main roles, one of which was the role in the film based on the book The Tale of the Agronomist, written by Galina Nikolaeva. But this film was not destined to appear on the screens, and all its materials were recycled. Later it was possible to watch Igor Bezyaev in such films as Shield and Sword, Tryn-grass, Battle on the way, Farewell, With fun and courage.
Bezyaev has two sons. One of them, Vladimir, has opted for a journalistic career and works for the Mayak radio station. The second - Alexander - works in the Moscow metro. At the age of 71, the actor passed away in Moscow. It happened on December 8 in 1993. He was buried at the Vostryakovskoye cemetery.
