Marina Kovaleva is a talented actress who did not leave TV screens during Soviet times. She has always been a favorite of the audience, she was very welcomed at various events. She was born on January 1 and became a New Year's gift not only for her parents, but for the whole country. The actress grew up in the village of Lyubovka in the Saratov province. Having lived there for 16 years, she realizes that she wants more and moves to the city. Thanks to her unique voice and impeccable hearing, she is immediately taken to a music school. In parallel with her studies, she moonlights singing on the streets of the city. Soon Marina entered the conservatory. After graduation, the girl became an opera singer, she was singled out from the crowd in time by the head of the choir, Mitrofan Pyatnitsky, and invited to his place. Already speaking with them, Marina became an artist of the national scale and everyone's favorite.
The first film with Marina Kovaleva was called Seventh Graders. Then she was still a very young girl, but she played the role of the main character Tanya Rusanova amazingly. In a few years she will star in the well-known film Timur and his team, and a little later she will leave for Yalta to shoot the fairy tale The Little Humpbacked Horse. And that's still being a schoolgirl! In 1941, the young actress, together with her mother, came to the shooting of Timur's Oath - this is a continuation of the picture Timur and his team. Since it was during the war, everything was done quickly and not very well. Therefore, the film did not cause the expected delight among the audience. Then the actress worked as an assistant director, assistant, and costume designer. In 1943, she returned to Moscow, got a job in Arbuzov's studio and went with them on tours to tankmen, artillerymen, and infantry units. Marina Kovaleva received the main roles even then. After the war, she works at the Moscow Art Theater, simultaneously acting in films. The actress was married twice. The first was very short-lived, and with her second husband, Ramaz Mchedlidze, she lived happily all her life. For some time she worked as a librarian, being already retired, the actress wrote various kinds of books and publications. Marina Kovaleva passed away in 2007.
