Born on March 7, 1932 in Zaporozhye (Ukrainian SSR).
Graduated from the Kiev Civil Engineering Institute (Faculty of Architecture). After graduating from the institute, he works for some time in his specialty. He came to the studio "Kievnaunfilm" in 1962 and began his career in cinema as an animator.
People's Artist of Ukraine (1996) .
Two months before his death, he was preparing the script for the cartoon "How the Cossacks went to the far-off kingdom." But he didn't have time to find sponsors.
He died in Kiev on July 29, 2006 in a dream from a heart attack.
