Vsevolod Shilovsky was born on June 3, 1938 in Moscow.
Graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (course of A. M. Karev). In 1961-1987. Combined active filming with work at the Moscow Art Theater. Since 1987 he has focused exclusively on cinematography, also acting as a director in some films.
Vsevolod Shilovsky took part in the White Parrot program.
Son: Shilovsky, Ilya Vsevolodovich (born 1970), Russian director.
Granddaughter: Shilovskaya, Aglaya Ilinichna (born 1993), actress.
