Reinhold was born to an arbitrator and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia and West Palm Beach, attended Mary Washington University and the North Carolina School of the Arts. Judge Reinhold made his debut in the 1979 television film Survival of Dana, and gained widespread popularity in the United States after the comedy Rapid Change at Ridgemont High (1982). International fame for Judd Reinhold brought the comedy "Cop of Beverly Hills" in 1984 with the participation of Eddie Murphy. In the 1994 comedy The Contract of Santa Claus, Reinhold co-starred with Tim Allen. Judge Reinhold has starred in 75 films.
