One of the best actors in modern Russian cinema, Oleg Menshikov was born on November 8, 1960 in the Moscow region. His father worked as a military engineer, his mother worked in a hospital as a neurologist. Having moved with his parents to the capital, the young guy developed a craving for music, which is why he was enrolled in a music school for a violin class. Passion for operettas influenced the future actor much more, in high school he independently began to stage school plays.
