Was born on July 27, 1952 in Novosibirsk.
Graduated from the Novosibirsk Theater School. In 1974-87 he worked in the Novosibirsk Youth Theater (now the Academic Youth Theater "GLOBUS"), where he played more than 50 roles.
Since 1987 - artist of the Riga Academic Russian Drama Theater. In 1990-2002, he was an actor at the Moscow Academic Theater. Vladimir Mayakovsky.
