Born June 30, 1932 in Moscow. Graduate of the Theater Institute. M.S. Shchepkina (course of Professor L.A. Volkov) .
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1973).
Since 1964 he worked at the Kaluga Regional Drama Theater. In 1967 he went to work at the Ulyanovsk Regional Drama Theater. Since 1978 he worked at the Petrozavodsk Russian Drama Theater. In 1987 he returned to Moscow, where he worked at the Moscow Buff Theater .
He acted in films. A popular audiobook reader.
