Kathleen Noone (born January 8, 1945) is an American actress.
Kathleen Noon was born in Bergen County, New Jersey, the son of a professional baseball player. She graduated from college at the University of West Virginia and made her debut in the daytime soap opera How the World Turns in 1975. She starred in the show for two years, and then was invited to another soap opera - "All My Children", where she played the role of Ellen Shepard Dalton from 1977 to 1988. She won an Emmy in 1987 for her work on the show, and was also nominated in 1980.
In 1990, Kathleen Noon landed the role of Claudia Summer Whitaker in the prime-time series Silent Harbor. She starred in the show for three seasons, until its finale in 1993. After that she was notable for roles in such TV series as "LA Law", "Frazier" and "Ellen", and in 1997 she returned to work in soap operas with a role in the series "Love and Secrets of Sunset Beach", which brought she had another Emmy nomination. After its closure, she periodically appeared in such series as "As Jim Said", "Passion", "Such Different Tara" and "Dexter".
