Roman Zhukov was born on April 19, 1967 in the city of Orel. He graduated from the music school in Orel, participated in the orchestra at the city Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. In 1984, Roman moved to Moscow and entered the aviation aircraft-building technical school. At the same time he played in the amateur ensemble "Yunost" on the electric organ and studied at the Gnessin Music College. In 1987 Zhukov was invited as a keyboard player to the Mirage group. Then he begins to compose songs together with Sergei Kuznetsov, the author of songs for the group "Laskoviy May". As a composer-arranger, Roman takes part in the recording of Svetlana Razina's first magnetic album after she left the Mirage group. In 1988, Roman left the group and recorded his debut album "First Snow". The songs "First Snow" and "Night Distance" bring him his first success and popularity. In support of the album, Zhukov is making a large tour of Russian cities. In 1989, Roman created the Marshal group and released his second album, The Maximum Version of Disco. The song "I love you girls, I love you boys" has become the artist's calling card. In 1990, the collective gave more than 500 concerts, and the newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets" called Roma Zhukov a "super-performance" [source not specified 365 days]. The third album "Milky Way" in 1991 was released in more than a million copies. In 1993, the Marshal group broke up and Roman moved to the USA. Since 1995 he has been performing for emigrants in Germany, and at the end of 1995 he returned to Moscow. In 1996-1997 Zhukov lived in Italy and recorded versions of his hit "I love you girls, I love you boys" in Italian and English. Returning to Russia in 1997, Roman organized his own studio, the most famous of which was the series "Legends of Russian Disco" and under the pseudonym "Nemo" he recorded the album "Back to the Future". In 1999, Roman published the disc "Return" under his own name, including arrangements of his songs and several compositions from the previous album. His songs began to sound on the radio again and gained fans. In the fall of 1999, a collection of songs by Roman Zhukov of 1990-1998 was officially published in Russia. In 2002, Roman records and presents his new songs, and in 2003 a new album "Blue Frost" is released, in 2005 - "Dust of Dreams".
