Marine Hinkle was born on March 23rd, 1966 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Parents often traveled from place to place because of their profession. After the birth of their daughter, they decided to settle in their homeland and try not to travel abroad, so that their daughter grows up in a civilized society.
