A duo between English guitarist Graham Russell (born June 1, 1950) and Australian vocalist Russell Hitchcock (born June 15, 1949), which enjoyed widespread success during the late 1970s and 1980s with soft rock ballads. Air Supply's work was marked by an abundance of backing vocals and heavy orchestration. Their last major hit was a version of the Jim Steinman song "Making Love Out of Nothing At All" (1983).
