Born July 3, 1942, XI arrondissement of Paris, French singer and actor, TV presenter.
In his youth he worked as an employee at the bank "Credit Lyonne", then as a courier in an insurance company.
At the turn of the 50s and 60s, he began his career as a singer in the group "Black Socks" (Les Chaussettes noires). The group immediately gained popularity.
Mitchell made his film debut in the early 60s, first performing the song "Rock des Karts" in the film "Une grosse tete" and then playing himself in one of the short stories of the film "Les parisiennes".
The 70s became a star for Mitchell the singer, when after several years of painful searches he released his solo album "Sur la route de Memphis" (1976). For many of his songs, Mitchell himself wrote the lyrics, and on the discs under these songs his real name is Claude Moine.

In 2000 he interrupted his concert tour to undergo cancer treatment.
In September 2011 he gave his last concerts as part of a tour called "Come-back". However, films with Mitchell's participation continue to be released.
