Director and screenwriter Dmitry Poddubny is a native of the city of Cherkessk, Stavropol Territory. He was born on July 18, 1963 in the family of an artist. When Dmitry was fourteen years old, he began performing on the stage of the drama theater, where his father worked. I had to play children's roles in performances.
Since 1982 he has been studying at the Institute of Arts in Voronezh, but after one course he moved to Leningrad. Here he continues to study at the Institute of Cinematography.
