Scott Aversano (born 1970) is an American film producer. He graduated from the prestigious Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and then received his Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Michigan. From 1997 to 1999, Aversano worked at Paramount Pictures as Director of Development. After that, he moved to the production company Scott Rudin Productions, where he was directly involved in the production of films. Aversano was the producer of such projects as "Lemony Snicket: 33 Misfortunes", "Love and Other Troubles" and a number of other films. In 2006, he headed Paramount Pictures' MTV Films and Nickelodeon Movies divisions. With his direct participation, as a producer, the film "The Lord of the Elements" was shot.
