N. S. Mikhalkov was born in the fall of 1945. As a child, he went to a theater studio and a music school. After receiving a general education, he was admitted to the Shchukin school, from which he was expelled in the 4th year. The young man transferred to VGIK, and after his graduation he served in the army in 1972-1973.
Nikita's film debut took place at the age of fourteen, when he played a role in an episode of the drama Clouds over Borsk. A year later, he also starred in the film The Adventures of Krosh.
