Christopher Evan Welch - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, music videos, actor.

Born in Fort Belvoor, Virginia, the son of Catherine Burke and William Welch. He had a brother, Derek, and a sister, McKenna Marx. Christopher graduated from the University of Dallas.

Welch began his theatrical career in Seattle, where he was also the frontman of the Ottoman Bigwigs (the group disbanded after Christopher moved to New York). On Broadway, Welch made his debut in 1997 in London Assurance, and quickly gained attention (the New York Times called his debut "sensational"). For his performance he was nominated for the Drama Desk Award, and for his role in the play "A Streetcar Named Desire" he was awarded the Obie Prize.

In 2002, he played the role of the Reverend Samuel Parris in the play "The Ordeal" by Arthur Miller, and also played in the British play "Triumph", based on the Danish film of the same name.

In cinema, he has appeared in more than 30 films and series, such as Stepford Wives (2004), The Interpreter, War of the Worlds (both 2005), The Sopranos, The False Temptation (both 2006), Once Upon a Time in Hollywood "," New York, New York "(both 2008)," Law & Order "(2008–2010)," Lincoln "(2012), Silicon Valley (2014) and others. His roles were mostly episodic, but memorable.

Welch was married to Emma Roberts and had a daughter, June Harper.

Died of lung cancer on December 2, 2013 at Santa Monica Hospital, California.
