The famous Hollywood actor Brion James was born in California in 1945. He gained popularity, largely due to his countless roles in horror films and category B films, although there were quite recognized films on James's account, including the fantastic thriller Blade Runner (1982) with Harrison Ford, the adventure drama Flesh + Blood (1985) by Paul Verhoeven and, of course, one of the most successful films with Brion James - the fantastic action movie The Fifth Element (1997) from the cult director Luc Besson, in which the actor played the role of General Munro. A huge role in his professional development was played by his father, the owner of the Beaumont cinema. Together with his brothers Craig and Chester, the boy loved to enjoy cinematographic screenings, and after graduating from school, he decided to enter the University of San Diego for a degree in theater arts, cherishing the hope that he would soon be back in the cinema - just not as a simple observer, but as the main protagonist.

James's dream was so strong that immediately after graduation, he, with a hundred dollars in his pocket, goes to conquer New York, which, like thousands of other debuting actors, meets him with cold contempt. Brion has to work in a wide variety of positions and even join the ranks of the National Guard.

In 1973 he moved to Los Angeles, where he was actively looking for any, even minor and inconspicuous roles. The start of his fascinating acting career was marked by 1974, when he starred for one of the episodes of the Walton series. After that, the actor finally begins to receive good offers, the roles of Brion James are full of variety, and his characters are often insidious villains and harsh military men.

The actor has a total of 168 films. The last work with his participation was released in 1999, and in early August the actor died suddenly of a heart attack.
